We ship internationally to all countries that allowed by law. We ship via FedEx and DHL ith both Economy and Express shipping methods available. internationally shipping typically ranges from $40 - $60, depening on the value and the destination of the item order.

We are a reputable supplier of high-quality, authentic emeralds from Colombia. We guarantee that each emerald that we sell is authentic, or your money back. Emeralds sold by American Emeralds are either designated as "Certified" or "Not Certified". Certification means that the emerald was examined by a third party to determine its authenticity and comes with documented proof of their findings. Not all of our emeralds are classified as Certified. The reason for this is to pass the savings on to our customers. However, if a certification is requested on a "Not Certified" emerald, this may incur an additional service charge, which will be paid by the buyer. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the order has been placed. Upon acceptance, all orders are immediately dispatched via the customer's chosen shipping method. Generally, once the package is accepted by the shipping company, order typically arrive in in 5 - 10 days for Economy Shipping and 2 - 4 days for Priority Shipping. At American Emeralds, we certify our emeralds through the Colombian National Institute of Gemology, a GIA-certified gemological laboratory located in Bogotá, Colombia. This trusted institution provides expert analysis and documentation to verify the authenticity and quality of each certified emerald. Please note that gemstone grading standards can vary between laboratories. Factors such as color, clarity, cut, and overall quality may be evaluated differently depending on the lab. While our certification reflects the high standards of the Colombian National Institute of Gemology, other laboratories may offer varying assessments. We are committed to full transparency and are happy to answer any questions you may have about gemstone grading, lab standards, or specific certificates. If you wish to return a product, you must send it back or hand it over to us within 15 business days (excluding weekends) from the date you notify us of your intention to return. Please note:
  • Shipping costs related to the return or a second shipment may be the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Returned items must be in their original condition. Products showing signs of alteration, damage, or wear cannot be accepted under our return policy.

Once we receive your returned product and verify its condition, we will begin processing your refund. You will receive a confirmation email when the refund has been initiated. Refunds are credited back to the same card or payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow 1 - 3 days for inspection and 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer. Yes — as an American Emeralds customer, you have the option to exchange an eligible emerald or piece of jewelry instead of requesting a refund. When you choose to exchange:
  • The value of your original purchase will be applied toward the new item.
  • Any price differences can be settled during the exchange process.
